After Shreveport, we stayed at a state park in Arkansas. It was called Devil’s Den! It was beautiful! I don’t know why it was called Devil’s Den. It was in this incredible valley and there were mountains full of beautiful green trees all around us. There was a lake area that was just gorgeous!
Of course, we had no cell phone service – well Bill would get a bar here or there, otherwise you had to drive up the hill to check messages. It is so weird when you don’t have service… you feel like you are missing something. We really enjoyed a couple days of beautiful scenery and fun outdoor activities.
